Are We There Yet?
Terrific Tracy, our oldest daughter, and her husband Don, are expecting their first baby in late December (after 9 years of hopeful prayers). A proud moment for Mom as Tracy follows my passion to make a difference in children’s lives. She is a first-grade teacher and previously shared her amazing gift working with special needs children for a number of years. Don’s added integrity and genuineness, the branches of our family tree, continue to flourish.
Kacey is still living back in TN with her fiancé and working for a mining company as an Administrative Assistant. I have to laugh because it turns out my biological father was a geologist. Kacey is just trying to keep it all in the family. We miss her, but she loves living back close to the Appalachian Mountains. Her favorite past-time is refurbishing old furniture and selling it at a flea-type-market store.
Our youngest daughter, Chelsea recently married a wonderful guy. Tyler will be a nice addition to our family. Impressively, at only 26 years old, Chelsea owns a business as an Event Planner with her best friend.
Two of our girls have their Masters and all three have graduated from college with their BA’s. We couldn’t be prouder and more blessed parents.
